Commercial Style Mild Enchilada Sauce


  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Louisiana hot sauce

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Makes 1 cup.

Cook’s notes: A large can of enchilada sauce is 19 ounces=2 cups.
